Double 1:16 ultra low-noise RF signal splitter
The Local Oscillator Distributor (LOD) is a dual 1:16 ultra-low-noise RF signal splitter designed for distributing sine clocks with minimal degradation over short distances (tens of meters). For longer distances, we recommend using our specifically designed timing products.
The system’s FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) is dedicated to configuring and monitoring the RF signals. An embedded soft processor provides a simple remote interface for users. Additionally, an EPICS driver based on the Asyn and StreamDevice modules ensures full compliance with EPICS official specifications.
The LOD can be managed via the Ethernet port and the SCPI protocol. SCPI, an extension of the IEEE-488.2 standard, facilitates control and monitoring of instruments through GPIB.
